Respite Care for Families with Children with Special Needs

Creating safe and accepting environments by providing respite care for children with special needs and their siblings

Night Lights provides free respite care for children ages 1 month to 13 years old who have special needs and their neuro-typical siblings, helping parents or caregivers have time to refresh, regroup, and take care of themselves.

DONATE

You can help support Night Lights in a variety of ways-purchase coffee, purchase a reusable tote bag, becoming a sponsor, scheduling a monthly donation, or providing a one-time donation. Your donations help keep Night Lights free to caregivers who have children with special needs.

Night Lights offers rewarding opportunities for volunteers of all backgrounds and expertise. New volunteer opportunities are now available including with our fundraising committee, as a child-care volunteer, on our board of directors, as a registered nurse, and with corporate team. ENROLL

Trained and background checked volunteers provide an evening of respite care and fun through pre-planned activities including arts and crafts, movie time, free play, sensory play, and music. During a Night Lights evening, each child with special needs has their own “buddy”.
Night Lights is committed to providing equal opportunities and services to all families, applicants, employees, and volunteers without regard to race, creed, color, religion, gender, sexual preference or orientation, transgender status, national origin, ancestry, age and disability (both subject to our eligibility and screening policies), genetic information, marital status, military status, veteran status or status in any other group protected by applicable law.
